Protecting Your Pet...Our Patient.

All pets need  heartworm preventative medication 12 months a year.  Watch videos below.

OVH Best Product Recommendation for dogs.

Vectra 3D (topical) for flea and tick control  and Interceptor (a monthly tablet) for heart worm and intestinal parasite control,  both given monthly year round.

While Interceptor/Sentinel  is on back order we are carrying Tri-Heart Plus   and Trifexis to protect your pet.

Tri-Heart Plus protects from heartworm as well as hookworms and roundworms .  It does not protect against whip worm so regular intestinal parasite checks are very important.  We are hoping to having Interceptor back shortly.  We will keep you posted for when it returns.   This can be paired with Vectra 3D for control of fleas, ticks and mosquitoes.

Trifexis, like Interceptor, contains milbemycin to protect your pet from heartworm disease, hookworms ,roundworms, AND whipworms.  Trifexis also controls fleas effectively.   Use with a Preventic Collar (for 3 month protection) , Scalibor Collar (for 6 month protection) or Vectra 3D  for tick control.

OVH Best Product Recommendation for cats.

Revolution used monthly to protect your kitty from intestinal parasites, fleas, heart worm disease and ear mites.

Use with Vetkem Breakway Flea and Tick Collar for added tick protection (lasts 6 months), especially on indoor/outdoor and outdoor cats.

Parasite Control is a basic foundation of the care essential to properly caring for your pets, as well as protecting your family.

Your dog needs to be tested yearly with the 4DX test for heart worm, anaplasma, lyme disease, and erlichia.

All pets need a yearly fecal examination.  Bring a very small sample of each your pets' stool during their yearly health maintenance examination.
